Nice shots. Not hard to get with a tripod though if you have one like my Manrfotto where you can remove the centerpost and insert it crosswise such that it's horizontal rather than vertical. I seem to recall that Walt had a Cullman that was even more versatile than that. I looked for it once but didn't find it. It's good you mentioned that the dog was undergoing back scratch bliss.
