For the same reason that people around here won't build the quite
nice near fireproof designs available - they cost more and they're
not EXACTLY what they're used to. Way up north, you can't build even
a shed (especially a shed) unless you meet Tropical Cyclone
specifications - TC1, 2 or 3, depending on zone.
