Don't dispute the good fishing, but having actually swam and water-
skied in several of the mentioned bodies of water, I stand by my
characterization of them not as lakes, but as very large mudpuddles.
Also true for North Carolina, except for a couple of shallow lakes in
the extreme eastern part of the state, which my geologist grandfather
told me were probably old meteor craters.
