I think "to the same standard" is the key. The monitors must also match
color temps. I think the position of the colorimeter on the screen
matters too. Especially on a cheap TN panel like mine. (the older model
lp2065 is a better S-IPS before they switched panels to AMVA) I did a
test measuring different areas of my monitor and found a substantial
deviation from the saved profile. YMMV
