Following discussions last week on Raw processing I have modified my
workflow to shoot raw and jpg, import both into aperture in seperate
directories and use the jpg unless I need to make adjustments, it means
more work and twice the storage space but storage is cheap now. I will
pay more attention to what software a reviewer uses in future and wonder
when people complain about colours of differing models if its just down
to the raw processor. I do need to learn my camera better though.
More and more I am getting disappointed by so called progress, this old
barn we look onto will soon be raised to the ground to make way for 6
apartment blocks, luckily we have some high trees to keep our garden
private and they are moving it slightly further away and more out of
sight from our lounge window but I like the old barn.
These are all unprocessed jpgs (unless aperture does something) - my
favourite is the middle one but could you tell me if you think they look
too dark as I have lost confidence in my monitor profile.
