I recall asking my photo mentor once whether he was concerned enough 
about rain to warrant spending the extra on a splash resistant body or 
at least buying a good rain cover.  He said:  "I've never known a bride 
that wanted to be photographed in the rain.  I don't worry about it."  :-)
