I read about this engine. Evidently fully compliant with current code re
braking, electrics, communications etc. and will be used for charter work on
mainline network.

I love the steam engines but am surprised they would build a new one (I
understand China builds them on a regular basis). They are huge money
pits, labor intensive, huge polluters, but fun to watch and listen to.
