Speaking of Hassey vs Mamiya---I was a bit surprised to see this comparison of the Mamiya 120 macro vs the Hasselblad. There has been a link on the list before but here it is: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/essays/back-testing.shtml Really very little difference despite a very large price difference. Mamiya 645 lenses at least don't seem to outrageously priced. Never have seen any published MTF data on them--perhaps don't exist? Stumbled into some 100% crops comparing the Mam 120 to a Tam 90/2.5. Very limited sample size and perhaps a slight focusing issue, but despite subtle differences, no clear winner. This appeared to provide evidence that the Lp/mm performance is not that different despite the larger format. Any of these platforms are very potent tools in Chris's hands.
