We have deer that will jump our 5 foot chain link fence to get food.
I hit a deer at 15mph once, fortunately the deer seemed OK. I was
surprised that she rain in front of me like a suicidal squirrel. The reason
is that the other deer had already crossed, and their instinct is to stay
together. The only reason I was going 15mph was that I saw the group
and thought that would be a safe speed.
The biggest problem we have with deer here is the deer ticks and Lymes.
