Maybe AG is still offering B&W developing service? If you intend to keep doing this you might consider buying a changing bag, a developing tank, some chemicals and an accurate darkroom thermometer. It's actually quite simple after you first practice loading film onto the reel a few times. The first time or two in the light so you can see what you're doing and then in the changing bag where you can only feel what you're doing. I haven't done this for more than 20 years but will say I always found it easier to wind film onto a stainless steel reel rather than any of the plastic gizmos available then. Others here will probably offer you better advice than mine. Chuck Norcutt AS wrote: > Where can I send rolls of Ilford HP5 for developing?
