Subject: [OM] Repair dented 24mm f/2.0 ?
Hi Guys,
Well, I stupidly bumped my (much prized) 24mm f/2.0 lens, and the front
filter ring is severely dented.
I am mechanically adept, and should be able to get it bent straight (or have
it bent straight by an engineering shop) but I don't know how to remove the
front metal part of the lens - could anybody please point me to a repair
manual (or post me some instructions) for doing so?
Would love to send it to John, but I don't really have the time (going on
honeymoon soon) nor the money to do so, as I am 10,000 miles+ away :-(
thanks... I am really annoyed with myself, first time I damage my own
equipment, Dawid
