You must be thinking of the Maxwell Bahai School, which closed last June. There
are two
major private schools in the area - Shawnigan and Brentwood (Mill Bay). While I
won't deny
the hoity toity bit, as it is expensive, we are trying to be environmentally
responsible - we've
been processing our own compost and recycling for many years now. I tried to
start a bio-d
project years ago, but never got anywhere, although it was encouraging to have
some
students who revived the project all on their own 2 years back, but they were
shutdown due
to safety concerns. They managed to get a small generator running on their own
fuel before
that happened though. I'm sure our environment group would love to know more
about your
eco village - do you have tours?
