Answer the bloody question Dr Wayne -
Why is light traveling between the source of illumination and the
subject governed by the inverse square law while reflected light
traveling between the subject and the viewer/camera is not, it seems.
I know this is so otherwise the concept of an incident light meter
wouldn't work but it's counterintuitive for me.
