We went calendar shopping at a local bookstore that has a huge sale each
Jan 1st. All Calendars are $3.99 or 3 for $10.00, whatever the size or
original price. it seems they take whatever hasn't been ordered
elsewhere in sufficient quantities relative to production. The selection
varies, but is always enormous. No NYTimes page a day crosswords
calendar last year or this, unfortunately. I'll have to order it elsewhere.
In any case, while milling through the crowd, I saw a fellow with
something wonderful under his arm and immediately went looking for the
source. One left!
It's a poster size calendar of images taken vertically at low altitude
of agricultural fields. I'm a real lover of found abstracts, so it's
right up my alley. Best of all is how much I like it. Second is that the
marked price is $50 and it's selling for more than that in some on-line
venues.

There is a smaller, 12x12" version as well, which is probably nice, but
the subjects thrive on the 14.5x19.5" (37x50 cm) actual image size, high
res capture and excellent printing.
Makes me think of GeeBee, but from a whole different angle.
