One nice advantage of the T-32 is that it does not need AA batteries when running from an external high voltage power supply. If you put the flash on a tall bracket (like a Stroboframe) the bracket exerts lots of leverage. Having or not having batteries in the flash is very noticeable after schlepping camera, bracket and flash around all night.
