You wouldn't get uneven exposure as the shutter would be fully open when the
flash fired assuming the ambient light level wasn't high enough to give you
a shutter speed < 1/60. The OTF sensor would detect sufficient light for
the exposure from the flash and close the shutter. If there was not
sufficient light from the flash the OTF sensor would keep the shutter open
until the ambient light completed the exposure.
