I started using it about a year ago, I'd previously been using RSE but they
didn't support the E-510 so I tried RT. It gives you plenty of options when
doing the conversion, more than I've had a chance to play with yet. I like the
way you can save a profile for conversion, then do individual tweaks on top of
that.
The only gotcha I have noticed is the perfromance and the way it does the
conversions in the "background", it builds what it calls a queue of conversions
but judging by it's behaviour I think it just processes each file
"concurrently" in a separate thread. Once it has more than a few conversions
in it's "queue" it tends to bring my machine to it's knees and if it gets to 8
files in the queue the process usually dies. I guess if I upgraded my machine
(been going to do that for 6 months !) it might not be an issue.
