Wow - it was there because today I would be asking about it :-)
It's been long since I wanted to know how to check shutter speeds.
Maybe during 2004, I raised the question - it should be archived as
well. Two members of the list explained how to use a TV (CRT TV) to
check 1/1000 in the OM 1 & 2.
But your comment made me think that this trick would not be suitable for
1/2000, something more precise would be needed.
Well, it was worth waiting for an answer _ :-)
It will take me some time and understanding to build such a simple
device, and still don't have any evidence that 1/2000 is wrong. Since I
rarely use something else than Provia 100F or Velvia 50, that SS is
rarely used, but who knows perhaps tomorrow ....
Thanks very much.
Besides, I wanted to tell you that I already have Margulis book and am (
slowly ) reading it.
I find it quite amusing so far, I mean the author writes in an
enthusiastic and amusing style. Have little time now to read it as it
deserves, but soon I will be off to the beach and have the time to fully
understand it. So far, I might recommend it enthusiastically. I suspect
I shall become a Lab fan during 2009.
Fernando.
