All the following sounds true and clever, but I'm just not that
interested in using flash. I only use it when I really have no choice,
and that usually turns out to be a built-in flash on a digicam. When I
really need it with the 5D (once, so far), I do my thinking, testing and
planning ahead. But doing experiments now won't stick anything useful in
my head for later use. And I can't have more than a very few $ in the
SunPak, which came with some other stuff in a group buy.

Oddly enough, I actually knew that, although I haven't done it. I did
read up on it and try it out before use. That flash is really a first
rate, well designed and thought out piece of equipment
