Any digital camera made recently will have a very strong IR blocking filter
(maybe not the Leica M8 ?). If you want good IR it's probably best to get an
IR modified camera (blocking filter removed) or pick up an older camera like an
Olympus C2100UZ which has pretty good IR sensitivity (e.g. ISO 400, 1/30 f8 in
sunlight) without any modification.
