I spent a summer working in northern Germany back in 1979. Went for a walk
in the woods with a co-worker who pointed out *huge* bright orange slugs
that were native to the area. Very impressive. I also asked who dug all the
perfectly round ponds I saw scattered about the woods. He smiled. US Army
Airforce.
