I remember going down town (350 pop) and getting meat for my Mom for
supper out of our rented ice locker. I *think* we had a refrigerator
in our home, but it didn't have a freezer in it. Our first home, that
I remember had a hand operated pump in the "kitchen" for water. Boy
that was fun! It was my job to prime the pump while Mom pumped like
crazy for water. Wow, I think I AM dirt!
