There was, I think it was called a Nikonos RS. I think they added
autofocus to it along with a slew of other features. It's size was
huge compared to the Nikons V and the nearly $10K price tag when a few
lenses were added in really killed it. I've only ever seen one once in
a shop, I don't think many people bought them. They're probably more of
a collector item today.
