The stuck pixels are not necessarily dependent on exposure time.
So they can be there in just about any shot. In fact, the long exposure
algorithm may actually counter act the mapped pixels?? I would check
with a shorter than 1sec exposure for hot pixels.
The re-mapping is not going to hurt anything. But I suggest taking
a before and after just to see if you notice the difference. I noticed
my hot pixels when testing during sensor cleaning, as there was
a consistent bright spot. During cleaning, I aim an unfocused lens
at high aperture at the blue computer screen.
