Cheaper to buy 2 or three inexpensive external HDs and just put 'em in a
regular safe on a rotation basis. A regular safe of about 1 cubic foot
capacity is only about $125, is waterproof and fireproof for at least as
long as the item in the link, and being in a safe makes it less likely
to be stolen. As well, one gets also a rotating backup that might save
one's bacon even without a fire or flood, and a place to store the
wife's jewelry or important documents or both.
