In my dim and distant past I used to look after Telex machines and 
remember one call to a telex 15 machine because it was squeaking, sure 
enough when I opened the cover a mouse had made is home right next to 
the  motor very close to some fast turning gears.

I also had the one where the cleaner unplugged it to plug in the vacuum 
every evening - mind you some idiot of a cleaner (i.e. this implies not 
all cleaners are idiots - I am an equal opportunity insulter ;-) ) 
managed to do the same to rack in the machine room once.
