issues. But it would sure be inconvenient. Although our house isn't
large, it's a bit spread out. So we have a wireless phone set-up with
three handsets, base station-charging station-answering machine in the
kitchen and charging stations in living room and master bedroom.
As a whole, it works very well. One handset is mostly Carol's and has
her numbers, etc. on it, another is mostly mine and one is shared. One
can almost always find a phone to answer quickly.
It also has stuff like caller ID, call waiting and ID at all handsets,
intercom, answering machine operation from any handset, etc. Going to
two cell phones and a simple, no feature landline - and three different
numbers, would be a great deal less functional.
I've been trying to figure out a way around this. What's really needed
is a base station/cell charger with multi handset capacity into which
one plugs the cell phone when at home. That would save us lots of money.
