I had a similar experience. I bought my Powerbook in early 2006 from a
small company in The Hague who had bought it for a particular project
for which they needed a Mac. It was 6-7 months old when I bought it,
and they were happy to get rid of it at a 40% discount off the new
price, as they were otherwise a Windows shop. It has served me well
for the past 2 1/2 years and it comes with me on all my trips.
Cheers,
nathan
