Yes, a medium format camera with a digital back. Cameras like the 5DII and
EOS 1Ds2 and 1Ds3 will beat 645 and come close to 6x7 but won't match it or
4x5. I have a Kodak 14n and it is very close to 645 in quality.
I actually want to sell the 14n because it sucks for low light work and I
need a newer camera for some of the commercial work I am doing that involves
low-light interiors, but for daylight in bright conditions it is very nice.
