Hi Brian,
I am torn by this, I have an E-3 which I am finding good, but I think
you should also look at the canyon 5d II (or one) especially if you
have some good old OM wideangles. The price on the canyons has dropped
quite a bit and the mark one version can be bought here for the same as
an E-3
The 7-14 however is a very special lens and I carry it with me pretty
much all of the time which brings me to recommend saving your money on
the 12-60 and get the 14-54, the main advantage of the 12-60 is at the
wide end and as you will pretty much always have the 7-14mm with you the
lighter weight of the 14-54 will help. I don't notice that the 12-60
sharper than the 14-54 although it does focus quicker and more reliably
in the dark but I don't know if this is due to the E-3 as I sold my 14-54.
I think though that things have reached "sufficiency" and that whatever
you choose you will not make a mistake ;-)
