I've no experience with Angenieux still camera lenses, but used some in C
mount years ago. The fit and finish was certainly sub-Zeiss, but at least
equal and likely better than the new cosina lenses. All metal, engraved
numbers filled with white paint, smooth operation, etc.

Thanks for the link, Jim.
The "fit and finish" apparently is not on par with Zeiss and a handling
description as "clunky" has dampened my enthusiasm. There are some
detailed reviews available for a price. Likely will keep the powder
dry. The contrast/resolution is reportedly top notch.
