I gather so, Ian. They have to find a way to charge for programmes
without attracting flak from commercial concerns in the UK.
I am a great fan of the BBC's and I would rather they took their time
and got that right rather than endanger the excellent public-service
broadcasting that we currently have -- better, probably than anywhere
else in the world.
