Looks to me like you and the E-510 and IS are doing pretty well
considering the effective focal length of that 135/3.5 on the E-510. I
have Canon's special manual focusing screen for the 5D which is made for
f/2.8 or faster lenses but I haven't noticed that it helps me a great
deal. It's not like having a split image screen which would probably
help considerably. I'd also buy a focus confirmation chip adapter if I
thought it would work.
