You are never too old to be a sentimental old fart, especially with
high level stimulus.
I once wept quietly on a beach surrounded by ebullient 13 year olds -
when they asked why, quite concerned, I choked 'The sunset...'
For some reason it just got to me - probably the standard shcool
excursion problem of several nights with little sleep.
I've sobbed quietly in the Tate Modern and most recently in a cinema
during 'La Vie en Rose' - from beginning to end.
Hopeless. Billy Connelly once confessed he was similarly afflicted.
I'm in good company.
