No such problem is insoluble. A friend works for the ABC (Australian
Broadcasting Corp. that is) and is their wildlife cam boffin. He's
the one who designed a night vision fibre optic drill camera to get
into platypus and wombat burrows.
The task was to film Tasmanian Devil behaviour and they wanted to put
a camera/powerpack/transmitter collar unit around their necks
pointing forward. Fitting them wasn't too difficult - well not not
easy but...y'know. The tricky thing was to make a package that they
couldn't actually eat. Last I heard they were making chunky titanium
boxes.
