Not the same family group of course - just the same delivery system.
I fell in the nettles many times as a child and I seem to remember
circulating rather quickly afterwards.
Rubbing them on people wasn't done in my circles, except as part of
schoolyard bullying of course.
Then when I went to France as a teenager, I was fed them on the farm,
in an omelette, used like spinach.
They put them through a crusher and fed them to the ducks, keeping a
small portion back for humans.
I wasn't overly impressed and didn't notice any effect on my rate of
circulation.
Some people drink nettle tea but then - some people will drink anything.
