[OM] OT Case dropped against man taking picture. Re: Staithes

Notice in the local free paper a report on a case recently in Scotland 
before Airdrie Sheriff Court (like County Court in England)

Guy in supermarket sees kid in fancy dress as a Pink Tiger so snaps her with 
his mobile phone cam. Mother reads the Riot Act and security / police 
called.

Guy was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Breach of the Peace and placing the 
mother in a state of fear and alarm.

When the case came before the bench  Sheriff Dixon asked the prosecution if 
they "really wanted" to proceed. They didnt and the chap was given an 
absolute discharge.

Said the Crown prosecuting. "He was charged as you cannot be too careful"
