Dubious? Part of leadership IS intelligence mixed with eloquence &
charisma - even in watching how Obama can lead and keep attention of
thousands when he speaks. Inate intelligence to be applied to advice
from a number of advisors with vast military and political experience to
allow good leadership using the system "as designed" - makes a better
presidency.
So, McCain was a ladies man in the war, and a POW for a while. Whatever.
The point is now. He showed thought out decisions in his politics that
sometimes differed from his party eight years ago, but he's is not the
same now. Voting back then to eliminate the Enron loophole then changing
the past few years to having no opinion on it. Big war, fight, military
guy in the past, but now hopes to throw more soldiers into the war, but
is for reducing help/support for them after they get out of the
military. In other words, he's changed in many ways to be just similar
and huggier to Bush. Depressing.
Bush always was, and still is far worse than both of them. Horribly, he
also has the sleazy, A-personality, ANYTHING-to-get-ahead aspect
bringing it down further.
