Perhaps, but for how long?
Natgas production has peaked in North America. The US is busy building
liquid gas terminals in its North American colonies (Mexico and
Canada) so it can begin importing in earnest, without any voters
having floating terrorist targets in their back yard.
You'd think they would have learned something when US crude oil
production peaked in 1970!
