Shidara is one Japanese premiere Taiko (big drum) groups. My wife and
I were fortunate enough to be the official photographer for them. Due
to our schedule, we only followed them to 3 locations. I have a lot
of photos to process, but here are some "teaser" pics." All are E-3
pics 35-100/2 and a lot of time at F2 ISO 1000.

Hasegawa san played an improv piece. Incredible passions and
technique. In the middle, he threw the bachi (drum sticks) away, and
started playing using his hands.
