Expedited or not, I want to know without any doubt that the lens will
make it back to me. Remember what happened to Gollum? Even Frodo had a
hard time with the Ring. The recommendations from others are great and I
would not have any issue sending him any of my other Zuikos but this is
, as far as I know, a one-of-a-kind lens. Has anyone ever heard of it or
seen a photo of it before? One person claims so, but nobody else can
verify that. It is, technically, priceless. How do I obtain a guarantee
on something priceless?
On the other hand, knowing John's predicament actually encourages me to
send it to him. Maybe working on it and enjoying it, even for a short
time, will be good for both body and spirit.
