I'm on Facebook, and I'm constantly telling my younger-generation
friends to be aware of the fine print on that site and others. It just
doesn't seem to bother them -- as far as I can tell, their expectations
of privacy and ownership of their IP are *very* different than ours.
It's a generational thing, at least partly. Though I did finally manage
to pound it into the head of my nephew that he shouldn't be posting
pictures the subjects or content of which he could regret in five or ten
years' time.
