This was my first exposure. As a card-carrying American redneck from
North Carolina, a bona-fide "Southern Man," (currently flying the
flag in Occupied Canada, i.e. Maine), I was particularly enchanted by
some of the enunciation. The stretching of the "T" from "Sweet" into
"Home," for example. That said, there are a couple of other Leningrad
Cowboy videos up that I only caught a part of, and they sounded
pretty good.
A friend viewing the video a little while ago (had to stop by the
local computer shop and turn them onto this one) said it looks like
Russia is embracing its own version of the '60s. The Red Army Choir
in such a setting, for example, might be analogous to the long-ago
appearance of Richard Nixon on "Laugh In" saying "Sock it to me!"
We did, but it took a few years. <g>
