Leandro:
Laziness prevents me from hunting down the specifics, but just go to
dpreview and start using their search function. You'll find a variety
of complaints going back months on a number of aspects of the E-3 and
Oly lenses, and a quick spelunking through some of the other forums will
reveal a surprising number of very familiar sounding complaints from
users of other camera systems.
It really is something of an eye-opener.
(Oh, and the LCD report on the E-3 was reinforced for me the other day
at the pro shop visit I already mentioned previously -- one of the Oly
specialists had just been to an Oly-sponsored song-'n-dance about some
of the upcoming and newly-released stuff, and as part of this show the
presenters made a great fanfare of the water-resistant nature of the
seals on the E-3; they poured a bottle of water over an E-3, and
promptly discovered [to their embarrassment] that water had gotten into
the back LCD. I coulda warned 'em, as several people on dpreview had
already discovered this problem.)
As for your idea of going all-manual focus, I'm not sure that's such a
good idea, particularly for the relatively smaller/dimmer viewfinders of
the Four-Thirds System. I could comfortably deal with manual focus when
I was twenty years old -- now that I'm pushing fifty, AF is a godsend
(most of the time).
