I was tempted by the C*non cord but really wanted something
longer (2-3 meters) but I don't think a cord that length is ever going
to happen as Olympus seems to have gone the wireless route with the E-3.
Guess I'll have to wait for them to show up on Eb*y [ ;) ] or try one of
the flash modules that Chuck has mentioned from time to time.

Ah well, in that case, Charlie, you have some choices - others
hereabouts
have spoken well of the Chinese RA finder (but it might need care to fit
to
an E-1, for instance) and the C@non flash cable which has the same
pinouts
as the Olympus variety.

No; if I could afford the 300/2.8 I doubt the price of the
over-priced salad bowl would bother me. I was referring to the $395
right-angled viewfinder and the $80 flash cord. Ouch!
