Gee,
Thanks for that quick report , Moose.? Much food for thought.? (sorry, couldn't
resist)
I'll pass it by the boss, as she'll use it first as a horse-cam.??Possibly the
slightly more compact profile,
build quality, hot shoe will trump the hinged LCD/AA advantages as well as
reduced cost.? I'm really liking the idea of the tiltable LCD. She may have
been smitten?with the G9 (much less so than with?the nice 4T with new grip) and
I won't lobby too much.
?
Noticed that chdk won't load on start-up as you say unless formatted in FAT-16
on larger cards.? On HD's that leads to a ton of wasted space.? I'm not sure
with the large image files if the cluster size matters?as much.

Time to admit it. I've fallen in love. The A650 IS arrived just before
lunch last Wed. <http://galleries.moosemystic.net/MooseEats/>
Thursday, I went to the Blake House gardens and took about 175 shots.
I've always wanted to have a twist and tilt LCD, and boy was I right.
The added flexibility is amazing, allowing angles that would at best
require strange operator body locations and/or contortions. In some
cases it will take shots I couldn't otherwise take.
