I am among those who hate Flickr. IMO the interface is clumsy and
very inconvenient for the viewer.
I would recommend Smugmug. There is a free version and paid versions,
but even the paid versions are inexpensive--mine is $100/year, with
unlimited storage.
You get an attractive interface which you can customize in various
ways if you are so inclined.
