I understand your point of view, Chuck, but I suggest that it is a
mutual arrangement between Olympus and Apple. Each is a stakeholder
in the other's organisation, but one depends on the other more than
the other way around.
Olympus's software support for Mac computers is a business decision
not an altruistic one, just as with its support for Windows users.
Of course, I should like it to be your way every time so that I am not
forced to upgrade. And I wish that I had not bothered to upgrade my
FileMaker ...
