Bob - Moose,
I just figured the "shameless promoting" (not my words) here of that
new web site had it's intended effect - to entice people that
normally visit here to go visit the alternative place. I would also
expect that some of that traffic would "stick" in the forums at the
new place instead of coming back here. If I remember correctly Bob
(or another List member) even encouraged List members to post all
E-thingy messages there instead of here. Of course, postings about
Moose Mondays have also been used here to encourage visits to the new
place. Based on the reduced traffic here over the past several weeks
I just assumed that the promotions were having the expected (if not
necessarily desired) effect.
So, how's the volume of posts going in the forums on the new site and
what percent of the posts are from people that you recognize from
this list? Or, am I barking up the wrong tree?
Later,
Johnny
