San Diego is a quite photogenic city, especially the areas near the
water. Have a nice dinner at one of the many restaurants on the water
and walk around for a while. There is a quite wonderful zoo in Balboa
Park and the Marineland aquarium just north of the city. You can also
get a trolley ride to the border and stroll across to Tijuana, Mexico,
a booming border town with its seedy aspects not hidden too well.
Then there is Anza-Borrego State Park, a desert preserve with lots of
nice scenery.
